The MCBDD Welcomes New Board Member
On January 22nd, the MCBDD held its annual Organizational Meeting at Bev MASCO. New Board Member Mrs. Andrea Patton was sworn in by Commissioner Carol Rimedio-Righetti. Mrs. Patton comes to us after an accomplished career at the Youngstown City Schools teaching individuals with disabilities. Her accolades include being honored as Youngstown City Schools Teacher of the Year. She states that "My greatest contribution and accomplishment in education was giving my students the tools with which they can succeed."
Mr. Peter Noll was also re-appointed and sworn in by Commissioner Anthony T. Traficanti.

Other business conducted at the Organization Meeting included accepting the 2018 slate of officers including President, Mr. Gary G. O’Nesti; Vice President, Mr. Peter Noll; Recording Secretary, Mrs. Marilee Meloy.
The Board also established the third Monday of each month (starting in March 2018) at 6:00 pm as the day and time for Board meetings. The December meeting will begin at 5:00 pm.
The Board also reviewed requirements regarding Conflict of Interest and Board In-Service Requirements.
