Early Intervention Services From Birth - 36 Months
Our Early Intervention services support families of infants and toddlers, from birth to age three, with developmental delays and disabilities. Starting intervention early is the key to improving your child’s ability to learn and develop. Early Intervention professionals will partner with you every step of the way in promoting your child’s learning and development during the first three years.
Who can receive services?
- Was your child born prematurely or with a medical condition?
- Are you concerned your child may be delayed meeting milestones such as rolling, sitting, walking, or talking?

What happens next?
A Service Coordinator will contact you to schedule a home visit. Your Service Coordinator will listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and begin coordinating your child’s developmental evaluation and assessment. Your Service Coordinator can also assist you with accessing community resources and will obtaining Early Intervention services.
What do services look like?
Once your child is determined eligible and in need of Early Intervention services, a Primary Service Provider (PSP) will be selected to work with you and your child in your home and community. Depending on your needs, this interventionist may be a Developmental Specialist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist. Your PSP will model intervention strategies that can be used throughout your child’s day. Regardless of who is selected to be your PSP, services will be delivered through coaching and teaming and individualized to address your child’s needs and your family’s priorities.
