Part time Speech Language Pathologist

  • Description:

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS (include but not limited to the following):

     

    • Must hold School Speech-Language Pathologist certificate/license, as required by the Ohio Department of Education.

                                                       

                                                   

    DUTIES (include but not limited to the following):

     

    • Conduct evaluation and treatment of students with communication disorders.   Provide evaluation and treatment for swallowing and eating difficulties.  Plan and implement goals based on assessments.  Provide communication and hearing information as needed for the Evaluation Team Report (ETR).  Develop and implement goals based on assessments.
    • Implement IEPs in collaboration with team members.  Provide direction and training to classroom instructors, assistants, therapists, family and community members.
    • Develop an individualized communication system.  Evaluate use and access of adaptive communication devices in collaboration with team members.
    • Document student progress.  Evaluate students’ progress quarterly and attend parents’ conferences.

     

     

    SALARY:       As per CBA

     

    HOURS:         21 hour work week, 3 days a week

     (Normally 8:30am – 3:30pm during school year)
